July 24th Nobuo Morisawa applied for a patent for the japanese phototypographic machine. The following year June 23rd He obtain a patent for the machine as a phototypographic equipment.

1929

The first practical phototypographic machine.

1948

Established a factory for phototypographic machine in Nishinari Osaka.

1952

Nobuo Morisawa was awarded on Ranjuhosho at the age of 51.Opened a new factory in Akashi Hyogo that focuced on making dial plate.

1954

Changed the company name to Morisawa Phototypographic Machine Manufacture, Inc.

Proposed Type MC, and obtained a patent.

1955

Established the Tokyo branch in Chuo-ku Nipponbashi.

1957

Moved the main factory to Naniwa Osaka.

1958

Exported English phototypographic machine.

1959

Exported Indian and Japanese technical machine.

1963
